Alcatel has unveiled successor smartphone in idol series which named as Idol 5S. The handset is currently up for preorder in USA through amazon retailer. The retailer has listed the handset in two options – Prime Exclusive With Offers & Ads and Standard Version Without Offers & Ads. The listing also reveals the price of Idol 5S as $199.99 (prime exclusive) and $279.99 (standard). It’s a unlocked variant that will be compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T network. The release date of idol 5s for USA set as July 10.

Specs of idol 5s are 5.2-inch FHD display, 2.5D curved glass, android 7.1 nougat os, Qualcomm snapdragon 625 chipset and 2GHz octa core processor. It comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage and an expandable microSD card. Camera features are 12MP at rear and 8MP at front. Both cameras have separate led flash light support. Connectivity and other preloaded options are fingerprint sensor, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Type-C USB, 4G LTE, dual 3.6W speakers, HD Voice and more. It powered by 2620 mAh battery that can deliver 23 hrs of talk time.
