Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch models are now official

Apple has unveiled next generation of iPad Pro tablets with upgraded features at WWDC 2017 conference. The new arrivals are named as iPad Pro 10.5 and iPad Pro 12.9. Unlike its predecessor models, Apple has revamped Retina display to deliver better viewing experience to users. The company also revealed the new iOS 11 features and will be rolled out to iPhones and iPads this fall.

Apple iPad Pro 10.5 and 12.9-inch Tablets

Coming to specs of new iPad Pro series, both are having similar hardwares and storage options. But it differs in display size and battery capacity. The 10.5-inch iPad Pro sports 10.5-inch display with 2224 x 1668 screen resolution while the bigger one sports 12.9-inch display with 2732 x 2048 resolution. The display also features ProMotion technology, 120Hz refresh rate and P3 wide color. Battery capacity for 10.5-inch model will be 30.4 watt-hour where 12.9-inch model houses 41 watt-hour.

Both tablets are launched in three storage models 64GB, 256GB and 512GB. Other common features are 12MP main camera with 4K video recording, 7MP front camera, iOS 10 (upgradeable to iOS 11), A10X Fusion chip, Hexa core processor, 12-core graphics, four speakers, nano sim tray, lightning connector, Bluetooth 4.2, TouchID (fingerprint), Siri voice assistant and more. Both iPad Pro 10.5 and 12.9 are comes in two variants – WiFi Only and WiFi + Cellular (4G).

Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch will be available to buy for $649 (64GB), $749 (256GB) and $949 (512GB). It comes in four optional colors gold, rose gold, silver and space gray. The 12.9-inch model will be priced at $799 (64GB), $899 (256GB) and $1099 (512GB). The above mentioned prices are only for WiFi versions. The cellular connectivity prices will vary for every storage variants ($raise 130 for each model).

Starting from next week these tablets will go for sale in 38 countries including USA. Other regions like India, UAE, Turkey etc. will get this new iPad Pro models before the June end. For Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and other territories will receive the stock in July.
