A week ago, Apple has rolled out the iOS 11 update for its iPhone and iPad devices. Today a new update with version iOS 11.0.1 has started to land on compatible devices. According to the report, it’s just a security update that holds bug fixes and some enhancements for iPhone and iPad. The company didn’t disclose the detailed changelog for this update. This security update weighs in 286.3 MB and also available for download.

This firmware will be compatible with iPhone 5s & above, iPad Air & above and iPod touch (6th gen). The eligible devices will receive the OTA update automatically. The users can initiate this latest iOS update from Settings > General > Software update. Before upgrading the iOS version we recommend the users to backup the personal files for safety.

Users who upgrade their device to iOS 11 are experiencing some bugs like battery backup issues, outlook & Microsoft email issues and more. We can’t confirm whether this update will fix those issues or not.
