After announcing the Oxygen product lineup, Archos has announced another two smartphones in Diamond series – Diamond 2 Note and Diamond 2 Plus. It can also be said as second generation smartphones in Diamond series. The manufacturer will show case these mobiles at Mobile World Congress event on next week. Archos will roll out the both smartphones in late May 2016. From these two mobiles the diamond 2 note will be available for the price of 199 pounds ($229 USD). The launching price of diamond 2 plus mobile will be 249 pounds ($279 USD).

The diamond 2 plus has 5.5-inch Full HD (1080x1920) display with dragontrail glass protection. It comes with hybrid dual sim slot which will use second sim card slot as either microSD card or sim card slot. It houses Mediatek Helio P10 chipset, Octa core processor and android 6.0 marshmallow os. The memory options are 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage and 128GB expandable storage (via sim 2 slot). It has Sony powered 20MP back camera with dual tone flash and 8MP selfie camera with single led flash. It includes fingerprint sensor, Wifi, Cat6 4G Speed, Bluetooth, Type-C USB and more connectivity features. It has built-in 3000 mAh battery with Mediatek fast charging technology.

The final one is diamond 2 note which comes with 6-inch 2K (2560x1440) display and corning gorilla glass 3 damage resistant glass. It runs on android 6.0 marshmallow os, Mediatek Helio X10 chipset and octa core processor. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSD card slot (uses second sim slot). It sports 16MP back camera and 8MP front camera. The camera features 4K video recording, dual led flash, f2.0 aperture, PDAF quick focus, 84 Degree wide angle selfie and more. The connectivity features are wifi, Infrared sensor (Remote control mode), bluetooth, GPS and more. The battery capacity bumped to 3610 mAh (non-removable) which support Sony fast charging feature.
