Asus has rolled out the software update for the Asus Padfone 2. The new software update includes some new features to the smartphone. The update rolled out for the software version V10.4.12.24. Android version remains at 4.1. The update improves the better performance and stability for the Padfone 2 and Padfone 2 Station tablet dock. Wi-Fi connections stability also improved more.

Also update improved the camera firmware was with optimized HDR mode and automatic brightness control.  Also includes the NFC file sharing from Asus Studio and the new Asus Story app.  Also the lock screen has been tweaked.  Existing apps also improved, including the Contacts app, Email app, and weather and battery widgets. Support of Tomb Jewels, Improved Email’s editing function, Improved Contacts app, optimized the instant translation interface, Added SMS samples, and optimized the lock screen interface.

The update will be available in two versions, one for China and one for the rest of the world. The problems in the dictionary, camera, scrapbook, the File Manager app and a volume key also fixed. The update also includes the SD cards support format in NTFS and EX Fat.
