Today Asus has rolled out its first software update for Zenfone 4 Max Plus (ZB570TL) mid-range smartphone. However this update will not add any new features, it will perform the enhancements on this device. The roll out has been confirmed by a thread on official Zentalk forum. According to that forum, the new update will arrive with the version 14.02.1712.29.
Following are the lists of enhancements that are included in this update:
- It will fix the focusing blur issue on 16M back camera and enhance the performance
- It will improve the audio quality
- It will reduce the noise and enhance the recording quality
- Optimizes the power consumption for better performance
- Tweaks animation effect on swiping option
That’s all the changes they’ve mentioned on the release notes. Other than these changes it may also perform general bug fixes for this device. Just now Asus has started to roll out this firmware update via OTA. The eligible handsets will receive the automatic update notification in the upcoming days. To check for manual update just navigate to the following options Settings > About > System Update. You can also download and install the zip format of OTA file from Zentalk forum.
