Blackberry team is now rolling out August 2017 security patch update for its android powered mobiles. They have confirmed this security update via BBSIRT twitter page. The company has also released the security bulletins list for this August patch. However this firmware is available for the users who bought it from official Blackberry shop.

Once you have installed this update check the security patch level on your device that will be updated to August 5 2017. The report suggests the patch update is currently hitting Priv, Keyone and DTEK50 devices. The build number for Keyone and DTEK50 will be in AAN358 and AAN493. Along with this security patch, it also includes some optimizations and bug fixes.

The OTA update may land your handset any time so stay with internet and maintain the battery level above 50 percent. After long awaiting it didn’t reach your handset means then check for manual update from Settings > About phone > System updates.
