BlackBerry’s latest operating system BB10 powered smartphone BlackBerryZ10 is not coming to sprint. Major US carriers Sprint announced that it will not sell the BlackBerry Z10 and will only sell the BlackBerry Q10. BlackBerry Q10 which features the QWERTY keypad along with the touchscreen. The BlackBerry Q10 has not yet released worldwide, but is expected in mid-May.
This is the disappointment news for Sprint users but Sprint spokesman Mark Elliott talking to Bloomberg, said, “We aren’t saying there’s anything different about our customers. We think our customers will be happy with the QWERTY keyboard and touch screen on the Q10”.
The Z10 and Q10 specifications are almost same. The BlackBerry 10 has been available in several countries worldwide from February.
Sprint not said when the Q10 will go on sale its only said that will limit it to selling BlackBerry Q10 in the later part of 2013.But the Blackberry Z10 is coming to the Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Verizon is offering the BlackBerry Z10 for $199 with a two-year contract. All the three carriers added notification pages on their websites for subscribers.
