Today (May 12) AT&T wireless carrier will roll out the android marshmallow update for HTC One M9 and M8 smartphones. HTC’s VP Mo Versi (Product Management) has confirmed this official software update on his twitter page. The carrier will push this firmware update to both handsets through OTA (over-the-air). Last month he also tweeted that the marshmallow update is getting delayed on its approval. Finally the update is ready to hit the AT&T powered HTC M8 and M9 mobiles. But other carriers in USA have already updated these handsets to latest marshmallow os.
Always connect your handset to Wifi network because the update notification may be available to your any time. The download file size will be large so we recommend uninterrupted wifi connection. If you got that software update alert just proceed to download and install latest os. Soon AT&T carrier will update the change logs at the support page of HTC M8 and M9. You can check for manual software update by Settings > About phone > Check for updates. If the update is available for your device install it or you need to wait for your turn to download.
