HTC M7 is the HTC’s new smart phone of 2013, which was yet to release. Now HTC announced it’s another new budget friendly smart phone HTC Desire U with 4-inch display in Taiwan. The device will be available for T$7990 (Taiwan Dollar) which is equivalent about US$274 (US) on contract from Chunghwa Telecom. HTC Desire U has an attractive design with micro-drilled cover art on its back panel also it has HTC logo on the center of the back panel.

 The smart phone runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich and has a simple user interface of HTC Sense. The Weight of the smart phone is 119g and with a thickness of 9.2mm. The Desire U has a capacitive touch screen 800 x 480 resolution displays and is powered by 1GHz processor, a 1650mAh battery. The device will be available in white and black colors.

Internal memory storage is 4GB, 512 MB RAM and it has an expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD cards. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 820.11 b/g/n.HTC Desire U comes with a 5MP camera with LED flash and auto focus feature. There is no official information about the exact release date and the availability in other regions.
