It’s official, Today HTC has unveiled two new mid-range smartphones in Desire series which will be called as Desire 12 and Desire 12 Plus. Earlier in February, the retail box of desire 12 has been leaked in online. These handsets are now official in European market, also revealed the pricing and availability. Another interesting fact is that both handsets are comes with 18:9 display ratio. The roll out of desire 12 and desire 12 plus for European market will begin from April.

Talking about pricing, the release price of desire 12 and desire 12 plus for Europe is 200 ($245 USD) and 250 ($306 USD) euros.

Desire 12 Specs:

The desire 12 features 5.5-inch HD+ display, 2.5D curved glass front and back, running on android 7.0 nougat os with HTC Sense UI, equipped with Mediatek MT6739 chipset and 1.5 GHz quad core processor. This handset will launch in two variants 2GB + 16GB and 3GB + 32GB. Both models support expandable storage via microSD card slot.

The desire 12 has 13MP single camera lens at back and 5MP selfie camera at front. It doesn’t have fingerprint sensor and face unlock options. It packed with 2730 mAh battery which can survive for normal usage.

Desire 12 Plus Specs:

HTC desire 12 plus arrives with 6-inch HD+ display, same 2.5D curved glass finish front & back, pre-installed with android 8.0 oreo os and HTC’s Sense UI custom interface. Unlike desire 12, the plus model comes with Qualcomm snapdragon 450 chipset and 1.8 GHz octa core processor. The memory options are 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage and also sports expandable microSD card.

The desire 12 plus houses dual camera lens at back 13MP + 2MP and also has upgraded front camera 8MP. This device has back mounted fingerprint sensor, but it lacks at face unlock feature. It fueled with 2965 mAh battery which will be compatible with 5V/1.5A fast charging.

Both desire 12 and desire 12 plus will be available in four optional colors – black, gold, purple and silver.
