HTC Taiwanese handset maker quietly introduced their new mid range of smartphone Desire 400 with dual sim support. This device released in December 2013. The device runs on Android Jelly Bean OS (Version not mentioned in official site). The device has 4.3 inch display with WVGA resolution. The device has HTC Sense UI and BlinkFeed features. The device has 1.2 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 1 GB RAM. The processor will perform multitasking features in a short period of time. The device has 8 Megapixel back camera with LED flash which allows user to record 720p HD video. The device camera has slow motion videos; HTC Share and Intelligent flash automatically focus distance objects. The device camera has special HTC Image Chip processor. The device has 1.6 Megapixel front camera for video calls. The device has 4 GB Mass memory and micro SD card slot. The memory can be expanded up to 64 GB. The device has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and more connectivity features. The device has 1800 mAh (Lithium-Polymer) battery capacity with 435 Hrs of 3G standby time.
Previously, HTC announced Desire 501 with dual sim support for Indian market. Compared to desire 400, it has dual sim support and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with HTC sense 4.0+. It has 8 GB mass memory, 1GB RAM and 64 GB expandable memory via microSD card. It also has 4.3 inch display with WVGA resolution. The back camera for both devices is 8 Megapixel with 720p HD video recording and playback. It has 2.1 Megapixel front camera while Desire 400 has 1.6 Megapixel front camera. Both devices has HTC ImageChip processor. HTC Desire 501 dual sim has NFC support (not available in desire 400 dual). The battery capacity of desire 501 dual is 2100 mAh while desire 400 dual has 1800 mAh. The desire 501 dual will be released at end of December 2013 or January 2014.
