Today HTC has introduced high-end flagship mobile in new U series – HTC U Ultra. They made the official announcement through live streaming event. It comes in two models one with Corning Gorilla Glass (64GB storage) and other one with Sapphire Glass (128GB storage). The U Ultra (64GB) is now up for preorder in USA and Taiwan HTC online stores. In USA the preorder price is $749 and for Taiwan NT$23900. The Sapphire Glass special edition will launch for NT$28,900. The color options are blue, black, pink and white. The shipping date and other availability details are not mentioned by HTC.

HTC U Ultra comes with 5.7-inch 2K display, 2-inch secondary display (like lg v20), Super LCD5 screen technology and corning gorilla glass 5th gen protection. It runs on android 7.0 nougat os with new HTC Sense UI 7.0. It sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 high-end chipset and 2.15 GHz quad core (kyro) processor. It will be available in two storage variants 64GB and 128GB. Both models have 4GB RAM and microSD card (uses sim 2 slot) support.

Coming to camera it has 12MP UltraPixel (2nd Gen) at back and 16MP selfie camera at front. The camera features 4K video recording, UltraPixel mode, PDAF, Laser AF, OIS sensor, pro mode, zoe dynamic mode and more. Other preloaded features are Fingerprint sensor, HTC U Sonic, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, 3D sound recording, NFC, Type-C USB 3.1, 4G LTE and more. This handset eliminates the 3.5mm headphone jack and uses Type-C headphone port to deliver Hi-Res audio to users. It equipped with 3000 mAh battery which support Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
