Sprint wireless has rolled out a new software update for HTC 10 users. This new update carries latest android security patch, bug fixes and camera enhancements. It also brings new software version number 1.80.651.1. The android security patch for HTC 10 will be updated to June 2016. Sprint carrier has mentioned the update will be available in phase for HTC 10 mobiles. Within 24 hrs the carrier will send the OTA update notification for this device.

To check for latest software update go to Settings > System updates > HTC software update > check now. If update is available to your device just begin the download and installation process. Before downloading the update keep the minimum battery percentage as 35% and connect your handset to 4G/3G data or wifi network.

The user can also perform manual software update through PC. For this method you need to install the HTC Sync Manager in your PC. The custom ROM is now available at HTC official site which will be 1.8GB size. Then connect your handset to system and follow the instructions that shown on your PC screen.
