Huawei Honor 8 Pro owners are now receiving new software update. This firmware bundle includes latest security patch and bug fixes for this device. According to the changelog, the new update will bump the version of this device to DUK-L09C675B150. They’ve rolling out this update through OTA and weighs in 313 MB.

The following are the list of issues that will be fixed by this update:

• It optimize the Thermal performance

• It fixes the bug that related to apps download from Play Store

• It also fixes the foreground application closing bug

Along with these bug fixes, it will also install the latest Google security patch to improve the security of your handset. It may also tweak the performance of this device. The OTA update may knock your device anytime so stay connected with internet. Also manage the battery level above 50 percent and use recommended data connection to download. To initiate the manual update from user side go to Settings > About > Software update.
