Back in January, Huawei has launched its Honor 9 Lite budget range smartphone for Indian market. The flipkart got the right to sell this smartphone in online and also it’s one of the fast selling mobile in India. Today the Huawei team has officially released the new Face Unlock feature for Honor 9 Lite. This update will be available for download via OTA. The company will push this OTA update in batch-wise, so you need to wait for your turn.

Huawei has confirmed all the honor 9 lite handsets will be updated within March 5. To use face unlock feature you want to register your face id by approaching the face recognition option from Settings menu. Currently we don’t have any details about new build number and exact download size. But once got the update we will post the screenshots in our news page.

Honor 9 Lite Specs Overview:

The honor 9 lite features 5.65-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 screen ratio. The handset runs on android 8.0 oreo os with custom EMUI 8.0 interface. Bothe front and back sides are having 2.5 curved glass finish to give a premium look. They’ve used their own chipset Hisilicon Kirin 659 and powered by 2.36 GHz octa core processor. It arrives in two storage variants 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. It sports hybrid dual sim slot, so you can swap the second sim slot and use it as microSD card.

It houses quad cameras i.e. 13MP + 2MP  at back and 13MP + 2MP at front. The camera preloaded with more features like PDAF focus, Bokeh mode, pro mode, gesture control, portrait mode, effects etc. the connectivity options are fingerprint, newly added face unlock, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB and more. It fueled with 3000 mAh battery that can deliver more usage time and also support fast charging technology. Right now the honor 9 lite is available in three colors black, blue and grey.
