Huawei introduced Ascend W1, Ascend D2, and Ascend Mate in earlier of this month in CES (Consumer Electronics Show). Now Huawei announced other new Huawei Ascend G615 a smart phone with quad-core processor and Android OS to the German market. The specifications are similar to the Ascend D quad. 4.5 inch IPS LCD screen with 720p resolution and 326ppi pixel density, HiSilicon K3V2 chipset along with an 8MP / 1080p camera. The Little disappointment is the device initially comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. But Huawei promised a Jelly Bean upgrade for the device will be available soon after launch.

Huawei Ascend G615 will be available in Germany at February 2013 at the cost of €300. Initially it will be available from Amazon, Conrad or Cyber port, later in March it will be available in other stores. Huawei is planning to give this smartphone for lowest cost. It may be available at the cost of €299.

The G615 is cheaper than the Ascend D quad XL. The Ascend D quad XL was sold at €300. Ascend G615 measures 134 x 67.5 x 10.5mm and weighs 145g. 8GB of built-in memory, microSD card slot , Dolby Digital Plus audio tech, 3G with 21Mbps HSDPA, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0. The Ascend G615 will be available in Black and White colors and comes with mini SIM.
