Huawei one of the leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider,  announced Huawei Ascend P2 on 24^th February 2013 at Barcelona, Spain. The Huawei Ascend P2 uses a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. The Ascend P2 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Huawei Emotion UI v1.6. It has similar specifications of Ascend D2. The device will be available in black and white colors.

Huawei Ascend P2 will be launched globally in Q2 2013 with a retail price of €400. Ascend P2 has 8.4mm thickness and 4.7-inch 720p IPS screen with 312ppi ratio. The screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass 2 layer. It also supports 13MP camera with 1080p video recording.

Ascend P2 includes 3G with HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. This is also support LTE that specially works on Orange France.

Special technologies proprietary Quick Power Control (QPC) and Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) for power-saving to reduce power consumption and charging time by more than 25% compared to other smart phone.
