Huawei China has unveiled its new Smartphone A199 with 5 inch 720p IPS display. The device is powered by Huawei’s own chipset K3V2 with quad-core 1.5GHz processor. The Huawei A199 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with Huawei’s Emotion launcher.

Huawei A199 is exclusively for China Telecom. The smartphone supports Dual SIM. The device also works on GSM/CDMA standby network. The device doesn’t support 3G connectivity in GSM network and it’s available only in CDMA mode.

The Huawei A199 includes 8MP rear and 1.3MP front-facing camera. It has a 2150 mAh lithium battery, 2GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal Memory storage and it has an expandable microSD slot that supports up to 32 GB. The device will be available for sale in China Telecom’s network later this week. Huawei not yet revealed the price and the availability in other regions.
