Today Huawei has unveiled a new mid-range version of Honor 8 smartphone in India which will be called as Honor 8 Smart. They have revealed this handset at a live launch event in India. Unlike Honor 8, the successor model didn’t have dual back camera feature. The honor 8 smart will launch in India for the price of Rs.19,999. They have also unveiled Honor 8 dual camera smartphone in India for Rs. 29,000 which is Rs.10,000 higher than the Honor 8 smart handset. Huawei will roll out the honor 8 smart before the October end.

The honor 8 smart comes with 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display, android 6.0 marshmallow os and Huawei Emotion UI 4.1. This mid-range device uses Kirin 60 chipset (instead of Kirin 950) and octa core processor. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB phone memory and also support microSD card. It sports 13MP single back camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and 8MP selfie camera. The fingerprint sensor located at the back side with payment support. Other features are wifi, bluetooth, gps, NFC, 4G LTE, Smart PA audio and more. The battery capacity is 3000 mAh which can standby for 1.3 days on heavy usage. The available color options are black, gold and white.
