Lava International has launched its second smartphone namely Xolo X500 with Intel's Atom. Lava already released its world's first Intel Atom-based smartphone - the XOLO X900. The Xolo X900 was the first device in the Xolo series. The new handset is based on Intel's new Atom processor, which is known as 'Lexington', designed specifically for low-cost smartphones.
The Xolo X500 sports with an Atom Z2420 processor, which has a processor speed of 1.2GHz and with PowerVR SGX540 GPU for gaming. The XOLO X500 has a 480 x 320 resolution with TFT3.5-inch display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory with expandable microSD card slot, 5 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and 7fps burst mode and 1080p video playback, battery of 1,500mAh, dual-SIM card support and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
With the addition of the Xolo X500, the lava is now offering five more smartphones under the Xolo brand by the end of the financial year, which range between Rs. 6,999 to Rs. 17, 500. The Lava Xolo X500 will be available in India for Rs. 8,999. For more information stay tuned with us.
