Lenovo K8 and K8 Plus are now official

After the success of K8 Note, Lenovo has added another two new smartphones in its K8 series. These handsets are named as K8 and K8 Plus. The design of K8 Plus is similar to K8 Note which was released on last month. Not only design the hardware features and dual cameras are also same. Then you may ask what’s new in K8 Plus? They’ve cut down the display size of K8 Plus to 5.2-inch.

Lenovo K8 Plus Launch in India

Lenovo says that this handset is exclusive to flipkart retailer and also available to buy from September 7. They’ve confirmed the launch price of K8 Plus as Rs. 10,999. The company will also release 4GB variant in this Diwali. It will launch in two color options black and gold.

Now we’re going to discuss the specs of K8 Plus. It features 5.2-inch Full HD display and the front part has 2.5D curved corning gorilla glass protection. Like K8 Note, it also uses Mediatek Helio P25 chipset and 2.5 GHz octa core processor. It runs on android 7.1.1 nougat os (pure android) in future it can be upgradeable to android 8.0 oreo. It will launch in two variants 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 32GB. Both versions have dedicated slot for microSD card.

Coming to camera, it has dual camera lens 13MP + 5MP at back and 8MP selfie camera at front. The camera comes with preloaded features like Depth sensor, bokeh mode, PureCel Plus sensor, dual focus and more. Stepping down to main camera, there will be a fingerprint key to secure your personal files and data. It also packed with standard connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE, GPS, Micro USB etc. Finally it loaded with 4000 mAh battery and it can deliver 2 days of usage.

Lenovo K8 India Launch

At the end Lenovo also gives a glimpse of the upcoming Lenovo K8. It comes with 5.2-inch HD display, Helio P20 chipset, android 7.1.1 nougat os, octa core processor, 13MP single back camera, 8MP selfie camera, 4G LTE, fingerprint, and 4000 mAh battery. The company didn’t reveal the price and exact release date. As per our assumption Lenovo will roll out this device in India at the end of this September.
