Today LG has introduced two new mid-range mobiles in K series which named as LG K5 and K8 4G. Earlier February 2016, the K8 4G handset was listed at the LG Hungarian official site. But now they have made the official announcement for this device. Starting from this week LG will roll out the both handsets in selected countries.

LG K8 4G mobile will reach the following countries like Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America and CIS. But the K5 handset will initially launch in Europe, Latin America and CIS countries. For Mexico LG will rename the K5 mobile and launch as LG Q6. Later LG will reveal the price and availability details of these handsets.

The k8 has 5-inch HD display, dual sim slot, In-cell touch technology, 2.5D arc glass and android 6.0 marshmallow os and 1.3 GHz quad core processor. The manufacturer didn’t provide the chipset details. It will be available in two RAM models 1.5 GB (EU, NA) and 1 GB (LATAM). Both models may have 8GB of internal storage and microSD card support. It has 8MP back camera with led flash and 5MP front camera. It comes with wifi, NFC, 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.2, GPS and more connectivity features. The handset loaded with removable 2125 mAh battery. It will be available in three colors indigo, gold and white.

Compared to K8, the K5 handset having downgraded features – 5 inch FWVGA display, android 5.1 lollipop os, 1.3 GHz quad core processor (chipset not mentioned) and 1GB RAM. It also has 8GB internal memory and an expandable microSD card storage slot. The rear and front camera options for K5 are 5MP and 2MP. The connectivity features are wifi, bluetooth 4.1, 3G, GPS and more. It comes with 1900 mAh removable battery. The color options are gold, titan and silver.
