LG Optimus 4X HD was initially launched with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at 2012.  This is one of the first quad-core Smartphones based on Nvidia Tegra 3 chipset. The users of the LG Optimus 4x HD have been waiting for the long time to get its update. LG has promised for update and now it’s delivering. Now the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Optimus 4X HD has finally rolled out with the features like Project Butter with its Triple buffering feature. The update also includes new features like photosphere panorama mode for the camera.

The Jelly Bean update for the device is being distributed over the LG servers. The update was rolled out in most of the European countries and the rest of the world will get soon. The update will be available through the OTA (Over-the-air). The User can update the jelly bean using the LG desktop companion Update tool. But there is no confirmation on when the update availability will complete. The unlocked LG Optimus 4X HD is available at the cost of around €300. There is no information about the Android 4.2 Jelly bean update from LG.
