LG rolling out Android Jelly Bean update to its latest handset Optimus G which was released in August 2012. LG Optimus G sports with premium specifications but originally running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The updation rolling out for the three versions  of Optimus G, but in Korea only.

It’s good news for South Korean Optimus G users, the users may start receiving notifications at any time, now to trigger the update process. LG’s website (Korea) suggests carrier-specific updates are now ready and it is up to carriers when they will start and how they roll out updates. More often, roll outs are done in batches considering it is going to be a major differ from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. But, U.S. LG Optimus G owners need to wait for the official Jelly Bean update. We hope they will get update soon.

According to reports, Android version 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update will be rolled out over-the-air (OTA) and will bring many bug fixes and performance boosters on top of Jelly Bean features any Android user knows about.
