LG has unveiled a successor or upgraded variant of Stylus 2 phablet in Taiwan which will be called as LG Stylus 2 Plus. The predecessor stylus 2 handset was announced at MWC 2016 event. The official announcement also reveals the price and release of this handset. Later in June 2016, LG will roll out the Stylus 2 Plus phablet in Taiwan. The official price of this handset in Taiwan is NT$ 10,990 which is equivalent to $330 USD or Rs. 22,390.

LG has made some major changes in new stylus 2 plus handset like camera megapixel, processor, RAM and storage capacity. Except these upgrades other features are identical to stylus 2 phablet.

The stylus 2 plus has same 5.7-inch display size but the screen resolution upgraded to Full HD (1080p). It runs on android 6.0 marshmallow os, 1.2 GHz octa core processor and qualcomm snapdragon 430 chipset. The storage and RAM of stylus 2 plus are upgraded to 32GB and 3GB. The previous model stylus 2 equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The user can also expand the memory up to 2TB with microSD card slot. The rear camera megapixel has upgraded to 16MP. The 8MP front or selfie camera is same like stylus 2. Like its predecessor, it also comes with 7.4 mm slim design, dual micro sim slot, 4G LTE (Cat.4), wifi, pop memo, pop scanner, stylus pen and more features. It retains the 3000 mAh removable battery with quick charging support.  The color options are brown, black and gold.
