Today at IFA 2017 event LG officially debuts its new flagship smartphone in V series and named this successor model as LG V30 and LG V30+. This high-end handset loaded with several highlighted features like dual back camera, Hi-Fi audio, glassy & reflective finish back panel and more. The company has also revealed the availability details of this handset.
LG V30 will first release on South Korean markets on September 21 and then it will expand to other regions like North America, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. However they didn’t announce the launch price of this device. Both V30 and V30+ sports same specs but it differs in storage option.
LG V30 features 6-inch Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440) OLED Full Vision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and HDR10. The front portion has been covered with corning gorilla glass 5 to protect from damages. Previous LG V series handsets are designed with secondary display but in V30 they’ve replaced this option with new floating bar. Performance wise, it uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and octa core processor.
It runs on android 7.1.2 nougat os with LG UX 6.0+ custom user interface. It comes in two storage versions 64GB (V30) and 128GB (V30+). Both variants have 4GB RAM and UFS 2.0 storage technology. If you didn’t satisfied with onboard storage you can expand the memory up to 2TB via microSD card.
Back of the device they’ve placed dual main camera lens it 16MP + 13MP (crystal clear lens) and the lens covers are made with glass. The V30’s camera comes with new Cine Effect feature that allows users to turn their memories in to cinematic effect. Again coming to front it has 5MP selfie camera which includes 90 degree wide angle lens and display flash. LG designed their new flagship mobile with MIL-STD 810 complaint and IP68 water & dust resistant.
It will also compatible with Google Daydream VR support. LG has used 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC & B&O Play audio technology to deliver immersive sound experience to users. Other preloaded features are fingerprint sensor, Wifi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, LTE-A with 4 band Carrier aggregation and more. It will release in four color options Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet.
