Verizon confirmed this nougat update and also posted the release notes at the support page. The firmware will knock the LG K8 V in new version VS50020a.

The nougat for K8V brings lots of new features like trash for gallery to recover deleted images, change themes by press & hold home screen, replaced lg download app by google download app, multi window mode, change device settings with condition card, improved settings navigation, customizable icon & font sizes, advanced notification control, updated lock screen notifications and more.

Verizon seeding this nougat software update for K8V via OTA. Connect your handset to Wifi network, any time the update may hit your device. To initiate software update from user side you need to select Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for update.
