Today Micromax and YU announced a budget smartphone in India named as YU Yuphoria. This will be the second YU and Cyanogen powered smartphone which launched by Micromax in India. Like Yureka, it will also exclusively available from amazon retailer for the price of Rs. 6999. From today 5 P.M the retailer will begin the pre-registration for Yuphoria. The smartphone will go on sales from May 28.

The new yuphoria has 5-inch HD (720x1280) display and corning gorilla glass protection. It has dual sim card slot with 4G/LTE support. It runs on android lollipop based Cyanogen 12 OS with lots of customizable features. It comes with 1.2 GHz quad core processor, qualcomm 64-bit chipset, 16 GB internal storage and 2GB RAM. It has 8MP rear with Saturn LED flash and 5 MP front/selfie camera. It equipped with 2230 mAh battery with 7 Hrs of talk time. With this device they also launched Healthyu device and fitness tracker band for Rs. 4999 and Rs. 999. First 1000 users will also get free fitness band with Yuphoria smartphone.
