Microsoft has rolled out the new firmware update for lumia 950 and 950 XL windows 10 mobile users. These two smartphones was announced in October 2015 and released in November 2015. The software update is now officially available in UK and Ireland. The new software update will carry the version number 01708.00027.15506.020xx. Based on the network providers the lumia 950 and 950 xl users will receive the update notification. This latest update has some bug fixes and performance improvements.  

The following are the list of bug fixes and improvements:

• Stability and performance improvements

• Improvements for MicroSD support

• Improvements for automatic brightness settings for display

• Fix for camera problem that causes noisy low-light condition images for some users

• Fox for 4K video problem that shows stripes while playing back the recorded videos

If the users didn’t receive the update they can check the software update manually by Settings > Update & security >Phone update > Check for updates. If the update is available for your device then follow the instructions that displayed on your screen.
