After launched the successor versions of Moto X and Moto G, Motorola planned to release the next successor version of Moto E which may be called as Moto E (Gen 2). Motorola mobile is now making the Moto E successor version which may be called as Moto E (Gen 2). The Moto E successor will come with upgraded hardware features and also overcome the drawbacks of its predecessor. The rumored features of the Moto E (Gen 2) also surfaced online.
The device may have 4.5-inch upgraded display with qHD (540x960) resolution. It will run on latest android 5.0 lollipop operating system with new UI design. It comes with same 1GB RAM, the storage capacity details are not available. It has upgraded 1.2 GHz quad core processor and qualcomm snapdragon 400 chipset. Unlike its predecessor, it has 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash support. There is no word about the front camera. The successor version will also include 4G/LTE connectivity.
Motorola may announce the Moto E (Gen 2) within Q1 of 2015. The company may change the handset price or retain its same price tag. The company may change the handset price or it will be available at the same price.
