After several leaks, Motorola has finally unveiled the Moto Z3 Play flagship handset. Along with that they’ve also refreshed the Moto Mods line-up by adding new models. Followed by the launch, this handset went for sale in Brazilian region for R$ 2,299. Motorola has also revealed the price and global availability (including U.S) for this device.

Starting from this summer, Sprint and U.S cellular carriers will roll out the Moto Z3 Play (carrier locked) in U.S. You can also grab the Unlocked or Sim-Free variant at Best Buy, Amazon.com (Prime Exclusive), Walmart, Target and B&H retailers. The launch price of unlocked model in U.S will be $499 / Rs.33,460 (including free battery moto mod). The Canadian carriers like Videotron, Bell Mobility, Virgin Mobile, MTS and SaskTel has also confirmed the availability and the roll out will begin from this Summer.

Moto Z3 Play features 6-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ (2160 x 1080) screen resolution. The front and back part of this handset has been covered by 2.5D curved gorilla glass. It will be pre-installed with Android 8.1 Oreo os (stock android), but they didn’t say any word about Android P upgrade. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset and 1.8 GHz octa core processor. This device will arrive in two storage versions 32GB and 64GB, both models have 4GB RAM. Further the user can expand the storage up to 2TB via microSD card.

At back, it has dual rear cameras 12MP + 5MP that includes 4K video recording, Google Lens, dual autofocus pixel, slow motion video and more. It also has 8MP front camera with that you can shot clear selfie. Connectivity options are Fingerprint (side-located), NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, Magnetic Pins for Moto Mods, GPS and more. However the manufacturer has truncated the 3.5mm headphone jack and replaced it with Type-C USB.

Coming to battery, it packed with 3000 mAh which compatible TurboPower fast charging technology. The available color option is Deep Indigo.
