AT&T major carrier in U.S is now rolling out a software update for Moto Z2 Force users. This new update brings November month security patch, DIRECTV support and fix for BlueBorne security issue. To access DIRECTV feature the user need to download the app from Google Play. The carrier has also updated the full release notes at the product support page.
According to this page, the build number of this latest firmware will come as NCX26.122-59-8-11-1. It will not make any changes in OS version and it still runs on Nougat 7.1.1. This small update weighs in 95.6MB and will be available for download via OTA. To verify the installed update just tap the Settings > About phone, the security patch level will be bumped to November 1 2017.
If you’ve connected your handset to internet, then you’ll receive the automatic FOTA prompt. Once notified download the OTA file and proceed to the installation process. Try to maintain battery percent above 50% and use recommended connection to stay away from errors.
