HMD Global has surprised the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 users by releasing the Android 8.1 Oreo software update. Only small numbers of manufacturers have released this Oreo 8.1 update, while others are still testing the beta version of this os. This stable firmware update is now live in several regions and many users have installed this update on their devices.

According to the screenshot, the android 8.1 update for Nokia 5 & 6 brings new software version V5.580. For Nokia 5 the download size of this update will come as 866.7 MB and for Nokia 6 the download weighs little bit huge 933.8 MB. The screenshot reveals, they were pushing this software update via OTA in stages. One important thing is that you can download this major update using WiFi network only.
