Today HMD Global has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone under its Nokia brand. The new arrival has named as Nokia 2. They’ve made this announcement via live streaming event in India. The company also revealed the availability and price of this budget handset. The roll out of this handset will start from mid-November and the suggested sales price is 99 euros (Rs. 7460 / $115 USD).
Nokia 2 features 5-inch HD display that has been covered with corning gorilla glass. This handset runs on android 7.1.1 nougat os with stock UI. It’s a budget level so they’ve used Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset and 1.3 GHz quad core processor. Memory options are 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and also support expandable microSD (up to 128GB).
It also equipped with decent cameras - 8MP (at back) and 5MP (at front). Other features are IP52 splash proof, wifi, bluetooth 4.1, 4G VoLTE, GPS and more preloaded options. This device packed with 4100 mAh battery which can standby for 2 days. It will release in three optional colors black, black with gray and white with copper.
