Two weeks back, HMD Global powered Nokia brand has introduced Nokia 3.1 Android One (successor of Nokia 3). Now the manufacturer has revealed the price and availability of this handset for U.S. Currently the amazon retailer has listed the unlocked variant and also accepting the preorder. This retailer has also confirmed the preorder price as $159 and they’ve scheduled to start the roll out from July 2 in U.S. This unlocked variant will also work on T-Mobile and AT&T GSM networks.
Let’s see the specs whether the device is worth for this price or not. Nokia 3.1 features 5.2-inch HD+ display, 18:9 aspect ratio, covered by corning gorilla glass, running on android 8.0 oreo os (pure android) and dual sim card slot. It powered by Mediatek MT6750N chipset and octa core processor. The U.S variant comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot (expandable up to 128GB).
It equipped with decent camera - 13MP main camera at back and 8MP selfie camera at front. Other features are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE (cat4 speed), Micro USB 2.0 and GPS. However this device failed to sport important features fingerprint and face unlock security options. Coming to battery, it houses 2990 mAh integrated battery which can offer a whole day usage. It arrives in three optional colors – black, blue and white.
