HMD Global has introduced new mid-range smartphone under its Nokia brand. They’ve named this new handset as Nokia 7. After its reveal, this handset goes for preorder in China via major retailers JD.com, Suning and Tmall. The official press release has also confirmed the release date of Nokia 7 as Oct 24. However the company didn’t notify the launch of this device for global market.

The launch price of 4GB and 6GB variants are 2499 yuan (Rs.24,540 / $377 USD) and 2699 yuan (Rs.26,510 / $407 USD). Available color options are black and white. Let’s see the features whether it’s worth for this price range or not.

Nokia 7 has 5.2-inch 1080p display, corning gorilla glass 3 front, 7000 series aluminum body and 3D glass finish back. It pre-installed with android 7.1 nougat os that can be upgradeable to android 8.0 oreo later. They’ve used Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset and 2.2 GHz octa core processor for faster performance. Talking about memory, it comes in 4GB / 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

It houses hybrid sim slot which means you want to swap second sim slot to use microSD card. Coming to camera, it has 16MP Zeiss optics camera at back that includes 4K video recording, PDAF, Dual Sight Mode and more. Again moving to front, it has 5MP camera for perfect selfies.

Connectivity options are Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, Fingerprint sensor, Type-C USB and more are there. It packed with decent battery 3000 mAh that supports 9V/2A fast charging technology.
