HMD Global has begins to roll out new software update for Nokia 8 handset. It will just update the android security patch level of this device to October 2017. It will also perform enhancements in User Interface (UI) and optimizes the system stability. The release notes didn’t reveal much detail except these changes.

Another important fact is it will not bump the android version and remains at current version 7.1.1. The latest firmware update will arrive through OTA and weighs in 293.4 MB. If you’ve received the automatic OTA prompt then download and install it on your device. Still you didn’t receive the alert try for the manual update from Settings menu.
