After testing the beta versions, OnePlus has released the stable version of Android 8.0 Oreo for OnePlus 3 and 3T users. The android oreo update for these handsets will come as Oxygen OS 5.0. It seems like they were rolling out this software update in stages via OTA. It has been installed by many users and shared their update screenshot on official forums.

As per the report, the oreo update will weigh in large 1490 MB (nearly 1.5GB). Use recommended and uninterrupted connection like WiFi to download this big file. OnePlus has also revealed the complete changelog of this oreo update on their forums. This update brings improvements in both system and launcher.

At first the OTA roll out will be initiated for small numbers and then it will be expandable to other users.
