OnePlus has started to push new software update for OP 5T, 5, 3 and 3T which brings April 2018 security update. However it’s not a stable update, they were rolling out the Open Beta builds for these devices. For OnePlus 5T and 5 owners, the Oxygen OS based beta update will arrive as Open Beta 6 and Open Beta 8. While the 3T and 3T users will receive this update as Open Beta 25 and Open Beta 34.

The company has also posted the detailed changelog of this update on their OnePlus forum. Some beta testers have installed this beta version on their devices and also shared the screenshots.

Earphone Mode (For OnePlus 5 and 5T Only)

 - Enables new Autoplay option

 - Newly added notification ringtone option

 - Now it will show Broadcast caller details when connected on earphone

OnePlus Clock

 - Revamped alarm background color

 - UI update for Stopwatch and other Clock UI related changes

Card Package

 - New membership card included to shelf

System

 - Installs the April 2018 security patch on all devices

If you’re an existing beta member you will be prompted to download this firmware update via OTA. Else you want to manually check for the update from Settings menu to initiate the download. Not a beta user, but have an interest to join in beta program, then download custom ROM from Oneplus forum and flash it on your device. What about stable release? The roll out will happen soon, once the oneplus found that there is no bugs on beta version.
