OnePlus breakdown the all rumors by presenting the new OnePlus 6 premium smartphone. They’ve unveiled this handset through a live launching event in London. In this event the company has discussed about the various exciting features of this device and also revealed the pricing & release date. OnePlus has scheduled to release this handset globally from May 22 i.e. next week.

OnePlus 6 will arrive in three memory versions – 6GB + 64GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The release price of these storage models are $529 (64GB), $579 (128GB) and $629 (256GB). The available color options are Midnight Black, Mirror Black and Silk White. It will be firs smartphone from OnePlus that sports glassy finish back and top notch display.

OnePlus 6 Specs:

The brand new Oneplus 6 features 6.28-inch FHD+ Optic AMOLED display with 19:9 screen aspect ratio (i.e. notch design). The front part of this device has been covered with 5th gen corning gorilla glass. It comes with OxygenOS 5.1 which is based on android 8.1 oreo. They’ve used high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset (10nm) and octa core processor with 2.8 GHz clock speed.

Coming to camera, it houses dual main camera lens at back 16MP + 20MP and single front mounted 16MP selfie camera. The camera features 4K video recording, Sony sensors, DCAF autofocus, super slow motion video (1080p @ 60 fps), EIS sensor and more.

This handset also has fingerprint sensor (back-mounted) and face unlock features to enhance the security option. Other preloaded features water resistant, NFC, WiFi with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C USB, Galileo positioning GPS, LTE / LTE-A with 1Gbps speed and more.

Talking about the battery, it has 3300 mAh embedded battery which compatible with OnePlus Dash Charge (5V/4A) technology.

India Launch:

OnePlus has also scheduled to launch this OnePlus 6 mobile in India (Mumbai) on May 17. The live streaming event will start at 3 PM IST and only few hours are left for this launch event.
