OnePlus mobile has surprised the OnePlus 6 owners by pushing the Android 9.0 Pie beta version. OnePlus 6 users are getting this android p update as Oxygen OS Open Beta 1. If you’re an existing Developer Preview user you can download the custom ROM from OnePlus forum and follow the installation procedures. Suppose if you’re using stable version you can directly download the Beta Build ROM from forum and install it from phone.

OnePlus has also attached the detailed changelog on their official forum page. Android Pie for OnePlus 6 brings new User Interface, android P gesture navigation, added accent color customization, DND with adjustable settings, Gaming Mode 3.0, adaptive battery and more new features are there.

They’ve also specified some known bugs in this beta build like Google Play service not working, some apps may not work and device not certified by Google issue. If you’ve an interest to join in beta program then head to OnePlus forum and download the custom ROM. Note: choose the right ROM from the forum page and follow the instructions properly for successful installation. The download size of the ROM will be in 1.5GB, so use faster internet connection to download it quickly.
