After lots of expectations, OnePlus has officially presented the new successor smartphone OnePlus 6T through a live event in New York. It’s the first handset from OnePlus that featuring In-Display fingerprint sensor, as well as, integrated with Android 9.0 Pie os. In this event, OnePlus has revealed the pricing and availability of this flagship device. The release date of OnePlus 6T for USA set as November 1 While the Europe will get on November 6 onwards. The launch price of OnePlus 6T in US will be $549 / Rs.40,290 (6GB + 128GB), $579 / Rs.42,490 (8GB + 128GB) and $629 / Rs.46,160 (8GB + 256GB).

OnePlus 6T Specs:

OnePlus 6T comes with 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio (waterdrop notch) and it has been protected by 2.5D curved corning gorilla glass (6th gen). It will be pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie os and it uses OxygenOS 9.0 custom UI skin on top. For lag-free performance, they’ve used Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 AIE chipset and 2.8 GHz octa core processor. It arrives in three variants 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage. As the internal memory is vast so they’ve excluded the expandable memory card slot.

Coming to camera, it has 16MP + 20MP dual main camera lens that includes 4K video recording (60 fps), slow motion video (1080p @ 240 fps), Sony sensors, Studio Lighting, PDAF sensor, AI camera and so on. Moving to front, it has 16MP selfie camera which can capable to record 1080p video and support EIS sensor.

Other preloaded features are In-Display fingerprint, face unlock, WiFi (dual band), 2x2 MIMO, 4G LTE (Gigabit speed), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Galileo GPS, Type-C headphone jack, Type-C USB port and still more are there. Talking about battery, it packed with 3700 mAh non-removable one that support Dash charging technology (5V/4A). It will be available in two versions Midnight Black and Mirror Black.

OnePlus has scheduled an event in India today to launch this handset for Indian market. They’ll announce the pricing and exact release date for India at this event. OnePlus is the most preferred brand by users for premium segment, it has been confirmed by the recent survey.
