OnePlus has started to push new Android 9 Pie based open beta builds for OnePlus 5 and 5T smartphones. These new beta updates will arrive as OxygenOS Open Beta 23 for OnePlus 5 and OxygenOS Open Beta 21 for OnePlus 5T. They were also published the changelog of this software update on their forum page. According to that this update includes latest month security patch, enhancements and bug fixes.

- Face Unlock related optimization
- It will fix the accent color not applying on every second try issue
Launcher
- It will fix the UI related issue with scroller in app drawer
- Color adaptation on the navigation bar has been improved
These are the changes that are bundled within this latest beta builds. If you’re an existing beta tester you will receive this beta update as OTA from settings menu. Suppose if you’ve OnePlus 5 or 5T and want to join in the beta download the official ROM from OnePlus forum and flash it on your device. OnePlus claims these beta builds will be loaded with bugs and it may not stable in sometimes. If you face any issues you can report it using feedback tool that included within Community app.
