Another software update has been released for recently unveiled OnePlus 5 smartphone. Still more users are facing issues in OxygenOS and the company also trying to fix these bugs with software updates. This time they have rolled out OxygenOS 4.5.5 update for OnePlus 5 fans. It’s a stable version and weighs in small size 59MB. OnePlus has also shared the detailed changelog on their official forums.
According to the release notes, the new update includes both optimizations and bug fixes for this handset. Following are the optimizations that loaded within this bundle – WiFi connectivity enhancement, clear voice call, optimizes battery usage for video recording and vibration level tuned up to gentler level for incoming calls.
The firmware update also fixes the lots of bugs such as frequently showed weak wifi signal, IPV6 network fix for incompatible apps and windows 10 PC connectivity issues (turn off USB debugging before upgrade). These are list of bug fixes and optimizations that are rolled out in this update.
Oneplus seeding this software update for Oneplus 5 users in OTA. At beginning it will land on small number of handsets and then it will reach more devices. Are you using OnePlus 5?
