After the couple of days, OnePlus has started to roll out new OxygenOS based software update for OnePlus 5 and 5T users. This stable firmware will bump the Oxygen OS version of both devices to 5.1.5. OnePlus has officially affirmed this update on their forum page and also shared the changelog. According to that, this latest software update for OnePlus 5/5T brings most awaited Project Treble support, as well as August month security patch.
It also allow the users to unlock the phone by confirming the PIN and there is no need to tap the tick after entered the PIN. Apart from these tweaks, it may improve the system performance and fixes the spotted bugs. This enhancement update weighs in big 1.6 GB (1613 MB). OnePlus 5/5T users will receive this software update via OTA in stages. Initially the OTA roll out will be available for small number of users and then it will expand to other users.
