Realme Oppo’s sub-brand has revealed the launch date of Realme X in India as July 15. They’ve also confirmed this handset will be available to buy from flipkart retailer. It’s the first smartphone from Realme brand featuring pop-up selfie camera. However India is not the first region to get this budget handset i.e. it was already released in China on May 2019 and also available to buy. Further Realme has released a teaser video which confirms the debut of Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Special Edition with red color themed icons on July 15.

Realme X features 6.53-inch AMOLED FHD+ display and it has been protected by corning gorilla 5 on front and back. It may comes in three variants 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. The Indian pricing of these storage versions will be revealed at launch event. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 (1-year old chipset) and octa core processor to speed up the performance.

It runs on android 9.0 pie with custom ColorsOS 6.0 skin on top. At back it houses dual camera setup 48MP + 5MP which uses Sony IMX586 sensor for perfect image shot. Coming to front, this device has 16-MP pop-up selfie camera that uses Sony IMX471 sensor, you may this same sensor in OnePlus 7 Pro device. Other preloaded features are In-display fingerprint sensor, Type-C USB, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual 4G, aptX HD support and so on. It packed with 3765 mAh enough battery and it’s compatible with VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology.

Except the chipset, Realme X surely comes with upgraded design and hardware and overcomes the drawback that has been faced by the users in Realme 3 Pro. On the other hand, Xiaomi has also scheduled an event in India on July 17 to bring the most popular Redmi K20 series devices. Compared to Realme X, the Redmi K20 shines by using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset which improves the performance by 40% more compared to Snapdragon 710.
