Back in February 2016, Verizon wireless has released 8-inch Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab E 8.0 for USA. The carrier is now rolling out android 6.0 marshmallow update for this flagship tablet. If you are using the Verizon powered samsung tablet you are eligible for this software update.

It brings new software version MMB29K.T377VVRU1BPD6. Verizon has also updated the changelog for this tablet at their support page. The major features in this software update are - Google now on tap, Doze mode to save battery and access controls for apps. The firmware also includes other new features:

• EasyMove App – With this app the user can easily move the photos from their basic phone to galaxy tab e 8.0. It will use bluetooth to transfer the images.

• Email Search – They have updated email search features with new filter options All, From, To and Subject. With this you can find the mail quickly.

• Memo with draw feature – The update enhances the Memo feature by including drawing option. So you can draw and apply colors for your creation.

• It removes the preloaded apps Amazon Music, VZ navigator and go90. The update also carries the latest android security patch for samsung galaxy tab e (8.0).

As usual Verizon will roll out this android marshmallow update through OTA. It requires uninterrupted wifi network. If you have received the notification select the install option to apply the update. You can also download the update manually by Settings > About phone > Software updates > Check for updates.
