As scheduled earlier, T-Mobile begins to roll out Nougat 7.0 update for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge owners. These users are awaited for long time to taste the Android Nougat. Finally T-mobile breaks the waiting and sending the Nougat os update to S6 and S6 Edge mobiles. The carrier also updated the release notes on their support page.

The galaxy s6 users are getting this update in new baseband version G920TUVU5FQE1 and also weighs in huge size 1270 MB. For s6 edge holders the baseband version will be G925TUVU5FQE1 and the download size is 1290 MB.

T-Mobile also surprised Galaxy Tab S2 users by releasing the Nougat update for them. The tab s2 owners didn’t expect this software update from T-Mobile. The new baseband version for this tablet is T817TUVU2BQE2. This firmware arrives in the size of 1006.80 MB.

All these devices will receive the nougat update via OTA in batch wise. Any time the OTA may knock your device, so switch on the internet connection and wait for it. After long waiting still it didn’t reach your device then initiate manual update from Settings menu.
