November security patch is now rolling out for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users on AT&T. Along with security patch it also adds new features and performs some enhancements. The build number for both galaxy s7 and s7 edge handsets will come as G930AUCU4BQK2 and G935AUCU4BQK2. The download size for galaxy s7 and s7 edge will range from 356 MB to 399 MB.
According to the release notes, the new update adds Mobile Hotspot APN support, November month patch, improves the call & network performance and fixes the AirWatch for Enterprise customers. This enhancement update will be available for download through FOTA. To receive this update you must connect your device to stronger or uninterrupted WiFi network.
It’s a nougat based security update and both handsets are running on Android 7.0 version. However the Samsung fans are looking for Android 8.0 Oreo update for their devices. Still Samsung is testing the beta version of Oreo for its S8 series and confirmed the roll out will start on early 2018. We can expect the Oreo update will reach S7 and S7 Edge handsets within Q2 of 2018.
